Since 1895, the Al Najjar family has been making authentic Aleppo soap, soap based on olive oil and bay berry oil and the predecessor of the famous Marseille soap. Using traditional knowledge, the production process has been passed down from generation to generation. Despite the unrest in the country, part of the soap factories are still in the city of Aleppo, in northern Syria. Part of the production process has moved to Turkey and France, where they have also established their company.

Although the aleppo solid soaps are still the heart of the range, the family business has enriched the range with a wide range of natural and organic cosmetics developed in its own laboratory in Lyon. Under the brand name Najel, they offer natural beauty care for the entire body. They use soft and organic ingredients as much as possible. Many products are also EcoCert certified.
