STORING ARGAN OIL
Good argan oil is unfortunately not cheap; the price is determined by the labour-intensive manufacturing process and economic factors. Remember that with a high-quality (and therefore more expensive) oil you can often get by for a long time.
SHELF LIFE OF PURE ARGAN OIL
To keep the argan oil as good as possible for as long as possible after purchase, the oil must be stored carefully. Argan oil contains the life energy of the immature argan seeds and deserves a respectful treatment!
Under ideal conditions, argan oil can remain good for up to six years immediately after pressing. After bottling, the average shelf life of argan oil is on average one and a half to two years. The date is indicated on all our bottles until when the oil has a minimum shelf life with normal storage. With careful storage, you can probably use the argan oil well past that date before it goes rancid.
Remember that argan oil is a natural product. Do not expose the oil to sunlight too much, this has a negative impact on the shelf life of argan oil. It is best to store the oil in a cool and dark place.
SHELF LIFE ARGAN OIL WITH ESOTERIC ADDITIVES
In our range you will find next to the pure argan oil also various variants to which active and wonderfully fragrant esoteric oils have been added.
Esoteric oils are volatile by nature: they not only evaporate, but under the influence of air the lighter molecules disappear first, changing the composition of the oil. To prevent this, our bottles are equipped with a well-closing dosing pump with a cap.
